Hi Rick,
Enjoyed the valuations fair at St. Lukes. One piece I forgot to bring was a Royal Winton Grimwades plate. Elliptical to a point at each end, 27 cm x 16 cm. The plate is green with the rim edged in gold, and gold outlined rosebud and leaf at each end. The glaze is crazed. Dates around 1945 - 50 I think. Is it worth anything? Everything was going great Deb, until I saw that word "crazed". Now, $35-$50. If in excellent condition, about $175. For anyone else out there wondering what "crazed" means, we're talking about those fine "spiderwebs" you often see on older china. It usually means the item has been fired in an oven that's too hot - and there's nothing you can do about it when it starts to show.. Thanks for kind words about the Brisbane radio program - I'm actually doing two now: with Walter Williams on Wednesdays. 10-11pm, and Thursdays with Ian Maurice 6.55-7.30pm. 4BC is 1116 on the am dial.

Hi Rick
I have a Gerry Gee Badge you use to get one of these to be in the Gerry Gee Club. I was wondering are these a collectable and if it is how much would it be worth.

Debra, they were in a sort of diamond shape, and came in a variety of colours. I'm had them black, blue, red and green. There doesn't seem to be much of a difference in price - about $50 or so.
