lilpuddins Member	# Posted: 23 Jul 2010 01:35 I have a very old large cookie jar "a rabbit holding a cookie" paint crackled and slightly worn... Japan 23/63 written on bottom very pretty and in really good nick no chips or cracks. Does anyone know if it's worth anything :-)
Rick Milne Member	# Posted: 27 Jul 2010 16:37 Not a heap. The "crackle" effect you mention is known as "crazing". It usually means the oven was too hot when the item was fired, and the paint cracks. Unfortunately, this devalues the biscuit barrel quite a lot. $30 or so.
