Hi Rick,
I have quite a number of cigarette cards featuring cricketers, birds, fish, aviation, wildflowers to name a few. There would be 100 or more. What would be the best thing to do with them.
Regards Tracey.

Get them valued, Tracey. The cricketers will have best value. I can help with prices if I know what you have. Which state do you live in?

Hi Rick,
I also have some cigarette cards as follows:
I have an incomplete set of "Greys Cigarette" cards of players from the 1932/33 England/Aust. Test "bodyline" series. All players (incl. 2 of Jardine) except for the following W. Voce (Eng.),PF Warner (Eng), L.Nagle (Aust), T.W.Wall (Aust) & (unfortunately) D.G.Bradman (Aust) - is it possible to get an idea of what these are worth
Regards
Tony

Tony, as it happens, this set turns up quite often - you'd expect it to be valuable, coming from the 1930's, but it's not. I sell these for $6 each, except for The Don, of course!

Thanks Rick,
I think I'll hang on to them for a while - what is the best method of preserving them - I had thought about getting them framed, but I would need the complete set - would you have stock of the ones I'm short of??
Cheers
Tony

There's a great reference book on collecting Australian-released cigarette cards "Cigarette Cards - Australian Issues and Values" by Dion H Skinner. It's a fabulous book now quite difficult to find. Maybe try abebooks.com if you'd like one. Although done 30 years ago, it is almost perfect - an amazing achivement!
