Hi Rick,
I have a collection of ''sports novels' magazines from 1947 to 1953 and also a collection of "sporting life" magazines from 1947 to 1956 all in good to fair condition approx 70 in all, and feature some excellent stories and covers of our sporting legends.Firstly what would they be worth and where would be the best place to sell them. I live in Derrimut ,Melbourne .
I also have other magazines ,such as "the aust cyclist"6copies1948/1949
1946-47 Sporting globe cricket book,
"The Ring" 1952-53 7 copies
Sporting Globe football book 1946-1948
regards,
Geoff

Easiest way would be to bring them to me in Brunswick, Geoff. I'm here till next Tuesday. On average, buying price is $2.50 each, Sporting Globe books $5 each. None is particularly hard to find. Now footie cards from that time - that's another matter!!! Call me if you wish. 0418 339 103

Hi Rick,
Recently, when cleaning out the old family home, I discovered a copy of the 1926 Grand Final Football Record, which considering it is over 80 years old, is in reasonable condition. Melbourne and Collingwood were the participants. I'm interested to know what it might be worth.
regards
Ken

A lot more than all the magazines put together, Ken! Of course, one man's "reasonable condition" mightn't be another's. (No offence) But if 7/10 in condition, $750 minimum. Best for me to see it to be any more accurate.
